Feel your Best | Summer workout Routine

Hi my loves, how is your summer going? Maybe you are enjoying the beach all day, or maybe you are working your ass off to get some savings for the winter? However, I hope you will get some time to chill and relax for a bit. Growing older, I find it harder to get the time to do this. Especially as a blogger, you always have some work to do. I got a lot of questions about my fitness routine on my Instagram lately. It is time to share my favorite work out gear and how I stay fit and healthy during summer.  As many of you know I eat about 80% off the time vegan since last year December. It has a major impact on my body. My hair and nails grow insane, I feel energetic and well – rested. I really want to change this to a 100%, but I am still learning about this lifestyle. I am taking this step by step.

My summer workout routine consists off:
– Horse riding twice per week
– Going for an every day run ( around 45 minutes )
– 3 times per week weight training in the gym ( legs + booty workouts )

These workouts together make me feel the best ever! I never liked running and now I do this every day. I even feel grumpy when I do not go for one day. It clears your head and gives you a stronger mindset. In the pictures I am wearing some active wear from Stronger. I love this brand! My shoes are of course my well loved Fila’s. Important: Change your mindset from ‘how I look’ to ‘How I feel’

Very often I just wanted to be lean, skinny and in perfect shape. Just like all the Instagram models. Now I just want to feel good and confident within my body. I feel less stressed when I work out. I feel stronger, more beautiful and fit. The pressure is high to look GOOD in your swimsuit. But who is going to say you don’t? It is about how you feel in your bikini, not how you look. I see so many girls with so much body confidence, it is amazing. If you can change this mindset, focus on how you are feeling, you feel great and more motivated to actually work out!

Set up a routine

To start : set up a routine which suits you. What are your goals? And how often do you expect yourself to have time to work out? ( or make the time haha ). I am working out for 3 years straight and my routine changed every half year. Sometimes a different routine matches a different time in your life better. In the summer, for example, you will have more time !

Take a look back ones in a while to see how far you have come! This is my biggest motivation !
