8 habits that changed my life
Running is one of my favorite ways to move my body. I prefer to go in the morning, as soon as I wake up. It is a great way to loose stress and you can run as long as your body needs. It is important that it feels good. Don’t pressure yourself too much.
2. Waking up early
I feel so much more productive when I wake up early in the morning. Even when I didn’t get a lot of sleep at night, I always find a way to rest for half an hour in the afternoon when I have to. Waking up early makes you want to sleep earlier in the evening and that is how I got a great sleeping rhythm!
3. Setting boundaries
I know this can be super hard, I still struggle with this often since I want to do so many stuff in a week! Try to set boundaries towards other people (your boss, friends, boyfriend…) If you feel pressured to do something, often this is not the right way. Communicate with the other person to make a plan together and be clear about what you want!
Plan in a selfcare/rest day or afternoon every week! I tend to plan too many things in a week which always got me into a burn out half a year ago. Stop pleasing everyone and give yourself the time off that you and your body needs.
Even when you don’t have much time, writing down a few things in your notebook is very helpful to stay positive and focused on your goals. You can write down everything you want. From feelings to dreams or struggles. Sometimes the best thing is to write it all down.
6. Water Bottle
During a work day I often forgot to drink enough water! So I bought myself a cute water bottle and I fill it up a few times a day. It is great! So far my best purchase this summer haha.
Don’t underestimate your own power. You can often do more then you think! So believe in yourself and work everyday towards your dreams.
Whenever you feel down, call a friend. I used to be dealing with things on my own a lot and I was afraid of speaking up about my feelings. I decided to change this and I got closer friendships which is amazing! I have build up a support system around me and I feel so blessed.
I hope you loved this post, do you agree with these 8 habits to change your life?

These are all great! The water one is especially important.
Thank you so much Natalie! It is right!
All of these things, at first, seem so small or that they wouldn’t have much impact but the truth is, as you’ve shared here, they really are powerful things to do. All of them take care of your mental health, and that’s key for a healthy, more content mindset shift. It is so great to read that you have these things in your life and they’re working for you. I’m in the (almost) middle of working through this too and this list is so motivational! Thank you for sharing!
